When you see the RIDE FREE sign,
the ride really is free that day. Don't ask; just hop
aboard!
Free
rides are made possible by the sponsors who advertise on the
trolley. Riders' donations (placed in the authentic trolley farebox)
pay for our Adopt-A-Class program which provides low-cost field
trips for schools (including daycare and preschools).

Many
of our trolley tours feature the very streets where Muscatine's
electric streetcars ran (1893-1929) and pass by such interesting
sites as the historic Downtown and West Hill areas, the last
streetcar barn (on Heinz property at Clay Street and Isett Avenue),
past and present factories, plus spectacular views of the Mississippi
River. Narrator guides are available by special arrangement.
See
the streetcar lines of 1917.

OUT-OF-TOWN WEDDINGS
Yes!
We will take the trolley anywhere within 50 "air miles" around Muscatine, but
we must add an additional charge for delivery and return when
going out of town (top speed is about 35 mph). For example, Davenport
or Iowa City is $150 in addition to the regular charter rate.
Ask about other locations; delivery charge approximately $75
per hour. CLICK

WANT YOUR
ANSWER FASTER?
Bookings
are done on a strictly first-come basis (from my first contact
with you), and the first one for any particular date can be scheduled
quickly. (Check
availability
at the Muscatine Celebrations Calendar.) Additional charters
may be possible on a particular day, but require careful negotiation
with the first party. I will tell you if you are first, but I
cannot promise fast action beyond that on any inquiries received
after the first booking is made. For best results, send e-mail
or leave a detailed voicemail message with the dates and
times you want plus your phone and e-mail contact information.
E-mail inquiries receive faster, more complete attention than
requests for a return phone call. Thanks for understanding! -Dan
