A message to supporters of the Muscatine trolley

Please help assure that Muscatine enjoys a trolley for a long time to come!
As a startup business (since April 2002), MT&T members have invested many thousands of dollars in acquiring and restoring our vehicles and assuring that they are always as safe and comfortable as possible. Liability insurance premiums are the biggest fixed cost - by far - about $1,500 per month for our three vehicles. We are committed to persisting and becoming profitable, and we do not hesitate to receive donations and loans from friends and neighbors who share our vision for fun, safe, scenic transportation based right here in Muscatine. Thanks to an initiative coordinated by Ann Meeker, you can join the roster of contributors who are pledging regular support. We'd love to list your name and recognize your help, but we're equally happy to honor your privacy by keeping your gift anonymous. Either way, your reward, like mine, comes most of all from the satisfaction of knowing you are doing your part in providing an amenity our community enjoys. Together we are making our city ever more livable for ourselves and welcoming for visitors.
